Q1. What is KYC? Why are you doing this activity?
A. 1. KYC is short for “Know Your Customer”. This helps BRPL to update details of our registered consumers & serve them better.
2. BRPL is getting this done as per the directions of Department of Power, GNCTD.
Q2. How will updating KYC benefit me?
A. 1. This will empower you to receive timely information about supply outages, various promotional schemes, reading schedules, regulatory changes & many other important updates.
Q3. Is KYC mandatory?
A. 1. KYC with BRPL is not mandatory but based on directions from the Government.
Q4. What are the documents required for KYC?
A. 1. Documents required for KYC include:
   a. Preferably Voter ID Card clearly mentioning Number with copy of front & back
   b. Aadhar Card- this is entirely optional and at consumer discretion
Q5. Where can I submit the KYC details?
A. 1. KYC details can be submitted at:
   a. Our authorized field executives will visit your door step for the service
   b. Online using BSES Smartphone app

   d. BRPL Customer Care Center

Q8. What are the charges for this services? Will it be added to my bill
A. 1. This is a totally complimentary service from BRPL. No charges are to be paid.
Q9. Will I get the acknowledgement upon completion of KYC?
A. 1.Yes, on successful submission of KYC details, instant SMS confirmation would be sent to registered mobile number.
