It is the latest Demand Side Management [DSM] scheme that BSES Rajdhani Power Limited has
brought for its customers. Under this scheme

• Consumers can exchange their old working ceiling fans with 1200mm BLDC fans at a discounted price of upto 64% on MRP or or
• Consumers can purchase new 1200mm BLDC fans without any exchange at a discounted price of upto 62% on MRP.

• Compared to normal ceiling fans, BLDC Fans consumes just 1/3 electricity. The mechanism that leads to electricity bill savings is the use of different type of electronic motor called BLDC motors.
• Wattage of the BLDC Fans offered in the scheme is 28 Watts whereas average wattage of old non star rated ceiling fans is around 75 Watts. Hence replacing the non-star rated ceiling fan with BLDC Fans would result in savings to the tune of 63%.

50000 are available on first come first serve basis valid till FY 2021-22 or till stocks last under which

• 40000 BLDC Fans are available for purchase under Buyback Mode.
• 10000 BLDC Fans are available for fresh purchase without any exchange of old fan.

• Any BRPL Domestic Consumers can opt for this scheme.
• To be eligible, consumer should not be having any pending bills (both electricity and enforcement)
• To purchase BLDC fans under buyback (exchange mode), the old fan should be working.

BRPL Consumers can avail maximum 3 BLDC fans under buyback or maximum 2 BLDC fans under without buyback with an overall ceiling of 3 BLDC fans per CA.

We have tied up with 3 Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM). Three (3) brand-new BLDC fans are available. The three manufacturers are:

Any BSES Rajdhani Power Limited consumer can avail the scheme. BLDC fans can be purchased through

You have to visit BRPL website https://www.bsesdelhi.com/web/brpl.
i) Select “FAN Replacement Scheme” under “WHAT’S NEW” Tab.
ii) You have to click “Click here” under “Registration for FAN Replacement Scheme” or
iii) You are directly routed to registration page
     a) by clicking on the scrolling web banner of FAN Replacement Scheme on our home page “https://www.bsesdelhi.com/web/brpl/home”.
     b) You have to click “Click here for registration” below the list of BLDC Fans which are available under the scheme.
iv) You have to give the details “Name, CA No, Email, Mobile” and click Register Button by selecting DISCOM as “BRPL”.
v) An OTP will be sent to the given mobile number during registration process to complete the registration.
vi) Once Registration is completed, please click DSM Form above price list after logging into the DSM portal and you have to select the required make, model and colour of FAN and upload necessary documents like latest electricity bill, identity proof and address proof issued by Government and click submit button.
vii) Updating your alternate mobile number is compulsory to complete the registration process.
viii) After clicking submit button a Registration Number will be generated.
ix) You can track the status of your application through your registration number.

b. You can register for the scheme by submitting the required documents at Consumer Help Desk (CHD) your divisional office.

c. Our dedicated field executive will visit you at your convenience for collecting required documents for registration at your doorstep and will do registration on your behalf.

Standard Installation cost and dismantling of old fan (under buyback mode) is free.

No. The new BLDC Fan will be installed by OEM at the time of purchase only.

a. Govt issued Proof of Address (POA) of registered consumer.
b. Govt issued Proof of Identity (POI) of registered consumer.
c. NOC from registered consumer in case tenant is opting for scheme.
d. Copy of latest BRPL bill with receipt confirming no overdue.
e. NOC from president of CGHS with Individual Energy Meter No.
