What is Pay by Phone

PayByPhone is convenient service offered by BRPL/BYPL in association with BillDesk  that you pay by internet or AutoDebit  to your bank  or credit card account.

Receive online confirmation and a Transaction Reference Number.

 

How does it work?

Register for Pay by Phone service by filling up the registration form and submitting it at any customer care centre .after one time registration:
1)You will need to give payment instructions to BillDesk every month for SMS, Phone.
2) Your bank /credit card account will get auto debited every month for Autopay.
 
What are the Advantages of Pay by phone
Convenience: Pay from anywhere if you have opted for SMS, Phone or Internet Pay. Standing instructions will ensure AutoDebit to your bank/credit card account.
Free Service: All services of Pay by Phone come to you free.
Flexibility: PayByPhone allows you to choose your mode of payment – SMS, Phone Internet or Auto Debit to bank/credit  card account.
 
How do I Register for Pay by phone

Call 011-39999707 /39999808 or SMS BSES to 6161 .we will send you a registration form .These are also available at our customer care centers and online at www.bsesdelhi.com. Fill up the form and drop it at the nearest customer care centre / drop box. we will send the registration form to your bank for approval. On receiving your bank’s approval PayByPhone Service will be activated within three working days. If you have provided an email id or mobile numbers, you will receive a registration confirmation  by Email / SMS. Consumer opting for payment through the internet will also receive a password at their email id to be used for making online payment.

 
After registration, how can I pay my bill every month using Pay by phone?
By SMS

1)You will receive a new bill alert via SMS with Bill Amount and Due Date (Which will be days before the actual due date).
2)Message PAY BSESR or PAY BSESY to 6161 from your registered mobile phone number.
3) You will receive an SMS confirming successful /unsuccessful debit of your account.
4) Your BSES account will be updated within 5 working days.

By Phone

1) You will receive your bill as usual.
2)Call BillDesk on 011-26287125 between 9.30 am and 6.00 pm on any working day.
3) Give your New KNumber and issue payment instruction.
4) You will get a unique transaction ID for any further reference.
5)Your bill amount will be debited from your bank account within 2 working days.
6)Your bill amount will be updated within 5 working days.
7) Please note that your payment instructions should be given at least 5 working days.

By Internet

1) You will receive a new bill alert via email.
2) Visit www.bsesdelhi.com.
3) Login by using your login id (email id ) and password.
4) You will see your bills due for payment, if any.
5) Choose any of your registered bank account and click on pay.
6)Your bill amount will be debited from your bank account within 2 working days.
7)Your BSES account will be updated within 5 working days.
8)Please note that the online payment option will be available only upto 5 working days before your due date.

By Auto Debit  to your bank/credit card account
1)Every month your bank/credit card account will be debited for the total bill amount.
2)The debit may take place upto 3 working days before the due date.
3) Please ensure your bank account has sufficient funds.
4) Our BSES account will be updated by the due date. 
5) If you have provided an email id or mobile number, you will receive new bill alerts and payment confirmation via email/SMS.
 

How do I get my Payment Confirmation?

1)If you have provided an email id or mobile number ,you will receive payment confirmation via email/SMS.
2) You can visit www.bsesdelhi.com and confirm updation of your payment within 5 working days.
3)You will receive your payment confirmation in your next bill.
4)You can call billdesk on 011-26287125 and confirm payment updation over telephone.
 

Can I pay my power bill without registering?

In the interest of consumer safety, only registered user can pay by using this service from their pre-registered bank/credit card accounts.


Can I pay my by Pay by Phone (SMS and Phone Pay) on the due date and not get charged late payment surcharge (LPSC)?

In the interest of consumer safety, only registered user can pay by using this service from their pre-registered bank/credit card accounts.
Payment should be made at least three working days before the due date to avoid any late payment surcharge (LPSC).
