BSES extends payments options for its customers



Keeping the customer convenience in mind, BSES has launched new payment options for its over 28 lakh customers. BRPL customers in South and West Delhi will now be able to pay their bills in cash at Easy Bill outlets. On the other hand, cash counters at BYPL’ division offices in East and Central Delhi will now be open for 12 hours – from 8 am to 8 pm.

BSES Rajdhani Power Limited’s (BRPL) over 16.5 lakh customers have yet another convenient and secure way of paying their electricity bills.


In addition to cheques, now the residents of South and West Delhi, can also pay their BRPL electricity bills in cash at hundreds of East Bill outlets in their neighbourhood. To begin with, this facility will be available at 492 Easy Bill outlets. Earlier they could only pay by check at Easy Bill outlets.


BRPL customers only need to carry their electricity bills or remember their CA number (as printed on their bill). They will also get an instant receipt upon successful payment of their bill. According to the prevailing DERC guidelines, electricity bills of upto Rs 4,000 can be paid in cash.

Meanwhile, the cash counters at the 14 division offices of BSES Yamuna Power Limited (BYPL) in East and Central Delhi will be open for extended timings – 8 am to 8 pm. These extended timings are already available on ‘stand-alone’ cash counters.


The timings of these cash counters have been extended, keeping in mind the convenience of walk-in customers who prefer to make payment (cash / cheque) at BSES locations, these counters are open 6 days a week.


The cash counters, which will be now be open for extended periods include those in Daryaganj, Krishna Nagar, Chandini Chowk, Yamuna Vihar, Nand Nagri, Laxmi Nagar, Patel Nagar, Mayur Vihar -1,2 and 3, Jhilmil, Shankar Road, Paharganj, G T Road and Karawal Nagar.







According to a BSES spokesperson, BSES customers can also pay their electricity bills at over 5000 locations – through a wide spectrum of options including BSES Cash Counters, Credit Cards, Net banking, Auto Debit, SMS, Phone, Internet, Easy Bill, Suvidha (BRPL) and Oxigen (BRPL), outlets, ITZ Cash Cards, Bill Payment Kiosks, Skypak, Nikat drop boxes and Jeevan Centres among others.
