Arun Kanchan appointed Chief Executive Officer for BSES (Yamuna)

Mr Arun Kanchan took charge as the Chief Executive Officer of BSES Yamuna Power Limited today.

An alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, Mr Arun Kanchan (48) has over 26 years experience as a professional in diverse fields like power, telecommunication, computer and electronic components. Mr Kanchan also has the experience of working with a couple of multinational companies. His last assignment was as Chief Executive Oficer of Surat Electricity Company.

As CEO of BSES Yamuna Power Limited, Mr Arun Kanchan would be the overall incharge of the 14 Divisions of the company and would be stationed at BYPL HQs at Karkardooma.

Welcoming Mr Kanchan, Mr Lalit Jalan, Director and Member BSES Executive Committee, said: “Mr Kanchan’s experience in the electricity distribution business would help BYPL customers as his top priority is redressal of consumer grievances.”
