BSES opens a brand new Customer Care Centre
at Vasant Vihar
A brand new BSES Customer Care Centre was inaugurated today at Vasant Vihar by Mrs. Barkha Singh, MLA from R K Puram.
Built at a cost of Rs 25 lakh, the Customer Care Centre, located next to the South African Embassy compound, is fully air-conditioned. The 1400 sq ft facility, which sports the new BSES corporate colours, will cater to the needs of nearly 60,000 BSES customers living in Vasant Vihar, Anand Niketan, Shanti Niketan and adjoining areas.
Speaking at the simple but impressive inauguration ceremony, Mrs. Barkha Singh expressed confidence that the new Customer Care Center will be a major boon for BSES consumers in the area as “it would take care of all their billing and other electricity related problems.”
In addition to a “Cash Counter” for the payment of bills, the Customer Care Centre will host a separate dedicated ‘counter’ for billing related problems. In an adjoining room, staff will attend to ‘no-supply” complaints.
According to a BSES spokesperson, “With the opening of this facility, consumers will be spared the hassle of going to the divisional office situated at R K Puram. The New Customer Care Centre will function like a one-stop shop, where customers will be able to deposit their bills, find a resolution to their billing-related grievances, and lodge no-supply complaints – all within easy distance of their homes.”
Mr Yash Mehra, General Manager (Business), BSES, assured the gathering that BSES remains committed in its efforts to provide quality and reliable power supply. He said the company would take every step required to meet the aspirations of its 23 lakh consumers.
