BSES opens its first 24X7 West Delhi

O&M Customer Care Centre

BSES’ first Operation and Maintenance Customer Care Centre was inaugurated by Mr Rama Kant Goswami, MLA (Patel Nagar) in a simple but impressive function attended by many local consumers, elected representatives and senior officials of BSES.

The 2500 sq ft 24X7 Customer Care Center, built at the cost of 40 lakhs, is first of its kind in West Delhi and will benefit 60,000 consumers living in the areas of East Patel Nagar, West Patel Nagar, Baljeet NAgfar, Prem Nagar, Anand Parvat Industrial Area, Dev Nagar and Bapa Nagar.  

The Centre will provide facilities of power restoration, maintenance of supply and help rectify faults in HT and LT cables.   Besides this, there will be a high tension van, a power supply van and a fault location van, for faster restoration of power.  

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, Mr Goswami said that he was pleased by BSES’ efforts to dedicate a 24X7 office for the residents of the area which will specifically address to the electricity related grievances.  

Other key locales which will benefit from this new Centre will be the Delhi Milk Supply unit, Siddharth Hotel, Padma Towers, Gopala Towers, Rajendra Place Towers.  

According to a BSES spokesperson, “With the new Operation & Maintenance Customer Care Centre we hope to provide consistent and reliable power to the residents of the area as the facilities available will help us provide faster resolution to the ‘no supply’ complaints.”

During the past week BSES has inaugurated three Customer Care Centres besides Rajendra Place.   One which has been set up at Nehru Place, at the cost of Rs 60 lakhs, was inaugurated earlier today by the Directors of Reliance Energy, the second at Vasant Vihar inaugurated by Smt Barkha Singh and another at Jama Masjid inaugurated by Sh Shoaib Iqbal.   Soon, all the 33 divisions of BSES will have a Customer Care Centre.
