Select BYPL Cash Counters to now open extra 5 hours daily



Starting March 11, 2011, BSES Yamuna Power Limited (BYPL) - supplying electricity in East and Central Delhi - will be unilaterally extending the timings and duration of its select cash counters. This has been done keeping customer’s convenience in mind.


For the convenience of walk-in customers who prefer to make payment (cash / cheque) at BSES locations, these counters will now be open for an extra five hours every day - from 8 am to 8 pm, 6 days a week. Earlier, they were open from 9 am to 3 pm.


In the first phase, these extended timings will apply to BYPL cash counters at Darya Ganj and Central Business District Shahdara. Incidentally, CBD Shahdara is the new Corporate Annexe office of BYPL Jhilmil Division (opp Aggarwal Mall)


Based on the customer response, the timings will be extended to all the 37 Cash Counters in BYPL’ area in East and Central Delhi.


In addition, BYPL customers can also pay their electricity bills at over 3000 locations – through a wide spectrum of options including Credit Cards, Net banking, Auto Debit, Minc Bill Boxes (at Metro Stations), SMS, Phone, Internet, Easy Bill outlets, ITZ Cash Cards, Bill Payment Kiosks, Skypak drop boxes, Nikat drop boxes, Jeevan Centres among others”.
