BSES offers yet another option to make online payment of bills easy – payments through cash cards

·         Payment of BYPL and BRPL electricity bills through ITZ cash cards

·         Signs up with Intrex India Limited

In a move to further strengthen its customer delight initiatives, BSES has now signed up with Intrex India Limited to facilitate its 23 lakh customers to pay their electricity bills online by using the Itz Cash Card.

This facility comes close to the company’s “Pay-by-Phone’ initiative that enables consumers to pay their electricity bills through SMS, Phone, Internet and Auto Debit. “We are happy to offer our consumers an additional option to make online payment. We would like to assure our customers that their online transactions on our website will be totally secure,” said Mr Lalit Jalan, BSES Director.

Intrex India Limited’s Itz Cash Card – launched in November 2003 – is the country’s first and only multi utility pre-paid card. It enables consumers to pay utility bills, book travel tickets, top up mobile pre-paid accounts, shop online, buy Internet connection packages and play online games.

“Consumers who posses Itz Cash Cards can log on to the BSES website (www.bsesdelhi.com) and pay their electricity bills. They can also view the bill details of their BSES account,” said a BSES spokesperson.

On visiting the BSES website and clicking on the payment option, the customers will be directed to a secure payment gateway of www.itzcash.com, where they will be required to simply enter their Itz Cash Card account number and password.

To ensure, the security of net transactions on the BSES website, payments are being made over an ultra secure, 128 bit SSL encrypted, Veri sign certified, payment gateway. On making the online payment, customers will immediately receive an online confirmation and a transaction reference number.

Easy steps to pay BSES bills online through Itz Cash Card

·         Go to www.bsesdelhi.com

·         Click on Online Bill Payment.

·         Click on Pay Now.

·         Click on Domestic Consumers.

·         Please go through the terms & conditions & click on “I Accept”.

·         Enter your “New K Number / CRN Number”.

·         To pay current bill due amount, select Itz Cash mode & click on “Pay Now”.

·         To confirm the payment click on OK.

·         You will receive payment confirmation.

·         Note down your transaction ID or take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

·         The amount would be credited to BSES account within 3 working days.
