State-of-the-art customer care centre and division office inaugurated
In a simple but impressive ceremony today, Shri Ramesh Bidhuri, Hon’ble MLA of the Delhi Assembly inaugurated the state-of-the-art customer care centre and the new division office for the Khanpur division at Pul Prehaladpur.
The function, held at BSES Rajdhani Power Limited’s (BRPL) sub station building was well attended. Those present on the occasion included Smt Sarita Choudhary, Municipal Councilor, Shri Vijay Khullar, Chief Operating Office, BRPL, besides senior government and BSES officials.
The customer care centre has many customer friendly initiatives, benchmarked, against the finest electric utilities practices like single windows system to address billing and metering queries. Besides these, the centre also has many customer friendly features like an automatic touch screen for duplicate bills, on the spot cash counters and a facility for completing necessary commercial requirements for new connections.
The staff of around 90 executives manning the customer care centre has undergone extensive training on various customer interaction modules. They will be able to resolve the customer complaints in an efficient manner.
Around 60,000, consumers living in the Outer Delhi areas of Pul Prehaladpur, Vishwakarma Colony, Sangam Vihar, Tigri, Krishna Park, Devli. Khanpur and Raju Park will be benefited from the opening of the division and the customer care centre.
It would be worth mentioning that persistent theft control efforts of the Khanpur division have brought down the theft level from a high of 90 percent to about 35 percent during the last one year. Khanpur division was earlier part of the Alaknanda division.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr Bidhuri said that “I am glad that BSES has built the finest looking office in the Outer Delhi region. This will provide the residents in the area a world class experience”.
According to a BSES spokesperson “This 2500 sq ft centre, state-of-the-art customer care centre, built at a cost of over Rs 25 lakhs is the fourth such initiative in the BRPL area as part of our ongoing “customer delight” exercise”
