BSES brings Customer Care to your doorstep
· Launches state-of-the-art mobile Customer Care Van
· Employing state-of-the-art VPN technology to provide Real Time information
In a simple but impressive ceremony today, Mr Rakesh Mehta, the new Principal Secretary (Power), GoNCTD, flagged off BSES’ mobile Customer Care Van at BYPL’s Karkardooma Head Office. Among those present at the ceremony were Mr Lalit Jalan, Mr J P Chalasani, Members of the Executive Committee and Directors, BSES and Mr Arun Kanchan, CEO, BYPL. Chairman of the Delhi Transco Limited Mr Arun Goyal was also present on the occasion.
The Flag off ceremony was also attended by RWA Presidents representing Surajmal Vihar Market Association, Vivek Vihar, Shreshta Vihar, Mayur Vihar Phase I, Pocket III, Phase II, Pocket C and E, and Secretary General’s of the Federation of I.P Extension, representing 11 Housing Societies and Secretary Joint Forum of Vasundhara Enclave.
The new state-of-the-art, full fledged mobile Customer Care Van; built at a cost of over Rs 10 lakh has been custom designed and provided with a host of customer care facilities. This Customer Care Van would enable the consumers to apply for New Connections, Load Enhancement, take duplicate bills, make billing queries and register their complaints.
According to a BSES spokesperson “The mobile Customer Care Van is equipped with state-of-the-art Virtual Private Network (VPN) technology that has been sourced from Reliance Infocomm. It provides real time information to customers on the status of their Bills, Complaints etc”.
Customers and RWA’s will be intimated in advance about the route plan of the mobile Customer Care Van. The Van will be stationed at suitable locations, across BSES’ licensed area, making it convenient for the customers to make full use of the facilities offered.
According to Mr Arun Kanchan, CEO, BYPL “This mobile Customer Care Van is an additional feature of our ongoing customer orientated initiatives. The van will take the BSES’ customer care to a new level. This will be boon to our customers, especially old people and ladies, who will now get a chance to experience our services at their doorstep”.
A BSES spokesperson informed that over the next couple of months, five more such mobile Customer Care Van will be operationalised.
