Now residents of South and West Delhi have yet another convenient, hassle free, safe and secure way to pay their BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL) electricity bills. The company has entered into an agreement with Oxigen Services India Private Limited to provide its over 14 lakh customers, an option to pay their electricity bills using “OxiCash” – a next generation virtual e-wallet platform. Customers also have an option to pay their electricity bills at a neighbourhood Oxigen retail outlet.

““OxiCash” is a unique cash based online payment solution, specifically aimed at customers who prefer to use cash for online transaction payments. BRPL customers can pay their electricity bills using “OxiCash” by logging on to www.bsesdelhi.com or at over 7500 Oxigen web enabled retail outlets across Delhi and NCR. For online payment of bills, they simply have to enter their BRPL CRN Number (as printed on the electricity bill), OxiCash e-wallet id or Registered Mobile Number and six-digit password”, said Mr Gopal Saxena, CEO, BRPL.

Not only will the electricity bill be instantly paid, the customer will also get an instant acknowledgment.  “OxiCash” can also be used to pay for other services like DTH recharge, Mobile recharges, Travel ticket booking, and PVR movie tickets, online shopping, among others.

It is extremely easy to create an “OxiCash” e-wallet account. It can be created by SMSing OXICASH to 9870 888888 or 9731 888888 or 9971 888888. It can also be created by logging on to the “OxiCash” web site (www.oxicash.in). Post this; the customer simply needs to top-up/ recharge his/her “OxiCash” account. This can be done (i) Online (though Netbanking / Debit / Credit Card) on www.oxicash.in or (ii) by paying cash at any of their 7500 retail /partner outlets.

On the tie up with BRPL, Mr. Pramod Saxena, Chairman and Managing Director, Oxigen Services (India) Pvt.Ltd. said, “This tie-up offers a two- fold solution to the customers of BRPL to pay their electricity bills. They can pay their bills at several thousand Oxigen Retail outlets across the city - allowing them to pay their bills in the vicinity of their neighbourhood and providing the online users with a cash based payment mechanism for paying their bills, using “OxiCash”, which is a stored Value e-wallet. This service will go a long way in extending convenience of payment, virtually at the doorstep of the consumers.”

Easy steps to pay BRPL bills online through “Oxigen”

· Go to www.bsesdelhi.com

· Click on on-line bill payment section on the web site

· Enter CRN Number

· Customers details along with the bill amount due will be displayed on the screen

· Click on Pay Now.

· Customer selects “OxiCash” payment mode

· Customer re-directed to “OxiCash” website, where he/she enter their e-wallet ID or Registered number and six-digit password

· Payment confirmation for customer

There are many advantages of OxiCash. Some of them include:

· OxiCash is a virtual e-wallet. And easy to get over SMS.

· It has a 12-digit E-wallet ID and is linked to the Mobile number of the Customer. This becomes his/her User ID and  a 6 digit password is issued to him over sms, when wallet is created
