Now simply enter your CRN Number to register ‘No Supply’ complaint

 

·    BRPL/BYPL become the first utilities in India to launch ‘No Supply complaint registration

    on IVRS numbers’ service

·    Consumers can register their ‘no supply’ complaint by simply keying in their 10-digit CRN

    number on IVRS numbers – 39999707 for BRPL and 39999808 for BYPL

·    Bill details through SMS service extended to BRPL customers of South and West Delhi

·    Both services initially launched for “Single Phase” consumers , comprising bulk of the

    customers

·    BRPL/BYPL launch Automatic Voice Broadcasting for broad casting messages to targeted

    groups

 

To avoid any inconvenience to customers even during the summer months, not only have BRPL and BYPL made adequate arrangements for power, they are also making it very easy for their customer to lodge ‘No supply’ complaints, in the event of a power outage.

 

No Supply complaint registration on IVRS numbers

 

Now customers of BRPL and BYPL don’t have to wait to speak to a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to register a ‘no supply’ complaint.  They only have to call the single digit call centre numbers – 39999707 for BRPL and 39999808 for BYPL and simply enter their 10-digit CRN number, as printed on the bill.

 

Not only will the complaint be immediately registered in real time, but the customer will also be given an instant acknowledgement number. This automatic acknowledgement number can be replayed by the customer.

 

The company’s modern call centre is sometimes under pressure during the summer months and at times, callers have had to wait for a while, before being put through to an agent. This next-generation service will go a long way to redress this issue”, said Mr Ramesh Narayanan, CEO, BYPL.

 

Procedure to register a power OUTAGE complaint on IVRS

 

Step 1 – Call the single-digit call centre number (39999707 for BRPL) and (39999808 for BYPL)

Step 2 – Choose the language (English / Hindi)

Step 3 – Press 1 for registering no supply complaint

Step 4 – Press 1 to enter the 10-digit CRN Number

 

(Customer gets an instantaneous acknowledgement number, which for easy noting can be replayed)

 

Earlier in February 2010, BSES Yamuna Power Limited, supplying power in East and Central Delhi launched the SMS service, where the customers can simply register their ‘No Supply’ complaint by simply sending their fault code and CRN number on 5545464.

 

 

 

Bill and Payment Details

 

Now getting Bill and Payment details is only a SMS away. This service successfully tested for BYPL customers of East and Central Delhi is now being extended to BRPL domestic (single phase) customers of South and West Delhi – comprising a bulk of its 14 lakh customers. Consumers just need to SMS their CRN number to 5545464 and immediately, they will receive the requisite details.  All they have to do is:

Automatic Voice Broadcasting

 

Another useful service that is being launched by BRPL/BYPL is “Automatic Voice Broadcasting” service. In this service, BSES will use this next-generation tool to automatically outcall customers and relaying specific messages in a targeted group.

 

“During a pilot run, this service was used very effectively to promote the earth hour. Thousands of BSES customers were broadcast the company’s Earth Hour appeal. Over time, this service will also be used to send messages to groups of people, about the planned outages in their area:, said a company spokesperson.
