BSES comes closer to consumers

Creates two more Circles to better manage today’s challenges and complexities

 

  • BRPL increase the number of Circles from 2 to 4
  • New Circles are South 2 and West 2
  • Move will bring BSES closer to consumers & help better manage growing challenges
  • Circle Officers would be empowered so that they respond faster to customers queries
  • Move will give further fillip to BRPL’ efforts in  - AT & C loss reduction, Optimisation of Customer Care, Improved customer interactions

 

Customer is King has been the cornerstone of BSES’ policy towards its customers. Continuing with this principal and to better manage today’s challenges and complexities, BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL) has increased the number of “Circles” from the present two to four. Two empowered senior officers (level of Deputy General Manager) – one each for Business and Operations and Maintenance (O&M), will head their respective department in each of the four “Circles”.

 

Consequently, South” Circle has been split into two – “South I”, based out of Adchini and “South II, based out of Nizamudin.  Similarly, the West” Circle has been split into “West I”, based out of Hari Nagar and “West II” based out of Punjabi Bagh. They in turn will be reporting to Head Business and Head O&M respectively - who in turn will directly report to the CEO BRPL – Mr Arun Kanchan.

 

The move to split “Circles” will assist in attaining the following objectives.

 

  • Fillip to AT & C reduction efforts
  • Optimisation of Customer Care
  • Improved interaction with customers
  • Decentralisation of responsibility and more empowerment to the field staff – leading to faster resolution of queries

 

“This area restructuring has been necessitated keeping in mind the explosive growth in South and West Delhi. In addition, this move to decentralise operations is part of BSES’ objective to empower the field staff - enabling the company to come closure to its customers and react faster to their needs”, said a BSES official.
