(O&M) Managers being sent to
all consumers
BSES has
made all necessary arrangements to supply its over 25 lakh customers 24 x 7
quality and reliable electricity. Our efforts at times get constrained due to
external factors, which are beyond are control – like Low frequency, Grid
constraints, Overdrawal by neighbouring states and Outages.
However, we
remain alert and committed to ensure uninterrupted power supply and seek the support
of our customers to assist our staff while they attend to breakdowns. “In case our
customers have any electricity supply related issue, they are free to lodge
complaints on our 24 x 7 IVRS Based Call Centre numbers – 39999707 (BRPL) and
39999808 (BYPL).
If they are
not satisfied with the response, they can also get in touch with their
respective BSES Operations and Maintenance Manager. Our staff has been advised
to keep their mobile phones switched on 24 x 7”, said Mr Arun Kanchan, CEO,
BSES.
“Alternatively,
contact details of all our senior O & M officials are being individually
sent to all our consumers from July 6. The July-August issue of our bi-lingual
newsletter – Synergy – also has this information”, added Mr Kanchan.
To meet with the
unprecedented power situation, BSES has alsso undertaken the following
measures:

Set Up Two Special Control Rooms - 1 each in BRPL and
BYPL - operational 24 x 7 to monitor the
power situation
·
Increased the manpower in the call centre by around
33%
·
Deployed additional manpower for Operations and
Maintenance
·
Cancelled leave of all the field staff for the next 15 days
