BYPL organizes the 7th “Aapke Dwar”…..for the residents of Dilshad Gardens

 

  • BSES Aapke Dwar – an open house interactive session for on the spot resolution of grievances
  • An empowered team of BSES officials led by the CEO interacts with the RWA representatives & members
  • So far 2000 residents have participated in the six Aapke Dwar’s held in Mayur Vihar, Shankar Road, Patel Nagar, New Friends Colony (East Delhi), Chandini Chowk and Darya Ganj

 

After an overwhelming response to the six “BSES Aapke Dwar’s already held, BYPL organised its 7th “BSES Apke Dwar” – an open house interactive session for the residents of Dilshad Gardens in East Delhi today.

 

The program was inaugurated in a simple but a well attended function organised at Arwachin International School, Dilshad Garden. Those present on the occasion included MLA’s Shri Ram Babu Sharma, Dr Narender Nath, Shri Veer Singh Dhingan, Shri Vinay Sharma, RWA representatives and senior BSES officials.

 

“So far around 2000 RWA representatives and residents have participated and benefited from the six “BSES Aapke Dwar’s” already held for the residents of Mayur Vihar, Shankar Road, Patel Nagar, New Friends Colony (East Delhi), Chandini Chowk and Darya Ganj. Most of the grievances were resolved and queries answered - on the spot. The remaining few were given a time frame, within which the problems would be resolved”, said a BSES official.

 

For the benefit and easy resolution of the complaints for the residents present at the venue, BYPL had organised separate counters – each addressing and catering to a different category. There were stalls for Billing Issues, Streetlights, New Connections, Load Enhancement etc and each manned by an empowered team of officials.

 

Under “BSES Apke Dwar” - an empowered team of senior BYPL officials, led by Shri Arun Kanchan are holding interactive sessions with the RWA’ / residents of an area. The program, organised at regular intervals also has a provision for online registration of complaints / requests. For the purpose, a separate counter with internet-enabled computers with required software modules are set-up to register complaints and grievances

 

 The aim of the session is five-fold:

 

  1. Facilitating the senior management get a first hand feedback
  2. To encourage customers to give suggestions to bring about further improvement
  3. On the spot Resolution of queries and grievances
  4. Sharing of company’s initiatives, plans and constraints
  5. Educating the customers about the menace of power theft and soliciting their support in theft reduction & energy conservation.

 

“BSES Aapke Dwar is another important confidence building measure aggressively implemented by BYPL. Through these interactive BSES Aapke Dwar sessions, we at BYPL intend to resolve grievances and answer queries – on the spot of the residents approaching us through this forum. It also provides a common platform to both BYPL and the residents to better understand each others concerns and priorities and jointly work toward finding optimum solutions to neighborhood’s power related issues”, said Mr Arun Kanchan, CEO BYPL.
